“Working with Verdiem, we were able to quickly deploy PC power management across M&I’s business operations and centrally manage and measure our PC energy consumption while achieving a return on investment,” said John Roberts, senior vice president, Marshall & Ilsley Corp. “Verdiem’s solution integrated well with our desktop maintenance and upgrade activities, ensuring that we could maximize energy cost savings while not interfering with IT operations and end-user productivity.”

M&I deployed Verdiem’s SURVEYOR as a component of the company’s MiPlanet initiative, a corporate wide program dedicated to helping preserve the environment through the ongoing implementation of cost-effective and responsible green practices.

“With over $58 billion in assets and banking operations throughout various regions in the United States, M&I is a nationally recognized leader in the financial services industry, and is also taking a leadership role in sustainability and green-IT,” said Brett Goodwin, vice president of marketing with Verdiem.
