What does your daily or weekly fitness regimen consist of?

Visit to Wisconsin Athletic Club 3-5 times/week and includes Stride & Strength on Wednesdays, Treading on Fridays, Master’s Swim on Saturdays and Tai Chi on Sunday mornings.

What fitness clubs do you belong to, if any?

Wisconsin Athletic Club and I’m going to include the Zoo Pass in this for the walking aspect that we started as a family earlier this year.

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?

It has provided extra energy for the day as well as the social aspects of enjoying the people with whom I work out.

How does personal fitness affect your work life?

More energy equates to a more productive day. As the head of the company, many employees need to see that energy in order to be motivated themselves.

Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?

Yes

What health/wellness organizations do you contract with, if any?

None

 How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?

We used to be called Team Buffet.  Old habits die hard, but with the advice and encouragement from the staff at the WAC, there is now a lot of extra Chinese food for other customers.

 What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?

It is easy to start and if you develop relationships at the club, it is easy to continue.
