Zilber buys two more Kenosha buildings

Organizations:

Milwaukee-based Zilber Property Group announced that it has purchased two buildings in the Business Park of Kenosha, with a total of 30,000 square feet of space, from Daniel Kegg. Kegg was represented by Sergio Chapa Lee & Associates of Illinois LLC to broker the deal.

One building, at 9121 58th Place, is 16,000 square feet and is occupied by Horizon Systems Machining.

The other building, at 9031 58th Place, is 14,000 square feet and will be occupied by Jade Electronics Inc., which plans to move from its current location at 3307 14th Ave., Kenosha.
The acquisition is the latest of several by Zilber in the Kenosha area. Zilber’s total holdings in the Business Park of Kenosha now total 320,000 square feet of space and 28 acres of vacant land sites.

“This is a strategic acquisition in a business park with desirable proximity to Chicago and Milwaukee, easy access to I-94 and is a continuation of our commitment to investing in industrial properties in this geographic location,” said John Kersey, executive vice president of Zilber Ltd. “There’s not sign of that growth (in the Chicago to Milwaukee corridor) ending. It’s an attractive place because it draws from two different markets.”

Zilber has an office in Kenosha at 9560 58th Place.
