Worksite wellness conference announces regional speakers

The Wellness Council of Wisconsin will hold its 22nd annual Worksite Wellness Conference “Making Interventions Matter” on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the Frontier Airlines Center. David Hunnicutt, president of the Wellness Council of America will kick off the event.

Hunnicutt will present the morning keynote, “Toxic or Terrific? Six Startling Statistics, On Why Your Company’s Culture Matters.”
“This event has been the largest worksite wellness-focused conference in the Midwest for many years. We bring together a highly engaged group of thought leaders from a wide variety of organizations, representing both the public and private sectors,” said Jessica Raddemann, executive director of the Wellness Council of Wisconsin.
Skill-building session presenters include Yuki Yang, vice president of client services at Alere Wellbeing; Dr. Raymond Zastrow, chief medical officer of QuadMed; Dr. Rajiv Kumar, founder and CEO of ShapeUp; Jessica Grossmeier, vice president of Staywell Health Management; and Colleen Reilly, president of Total Well Being and Director of Wellness at Nelnet, Inc. and others.
The event also includes the fourth annual pre-conference summit, The Essential Link:  Wellness and Benefit Strategies, on Tuesday, Sept. 25. This program will address value-based wellness and benefit design. Presenters include Zastrow, Carol Ann Rydahl, Health Strategies Consultant with UnitedHealthcare; and Lynda Malmberg, HR Manager of Steinhafels, Inc.
