Wixon named St. Francis business of the year

Wixon, a St. Francis-based spice maker, has secured the city’s business of the year award. The honor was determined by the City of St. Francis and the St. Francis Association of Commerce.
“We are honored to receive this tremendous award from the City of St. Francis and the St. Francis Association of Commerce,” said Sandy Jaskulski, Wixon’s vice president of administration. “This recognition is a reflection of our dedication to the thriving business community.  We are committed to strengthening the local economic future of St. Francis.”
Wixon will be recognized at an Association awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the Pulaski Inn, 3900 E. Pulaski Ave. in Cudahy.
