Border Patrol Wisconsin Inc., a Taco Bell franchisee, plans to tear down the Taco Bell restaurant at 2210 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee, and will build a new one in its place. The existing 2,156-square-foot Taco Bell restaurant on the property was built in 1979.
The Taco Bell restaurant is located just west of the Marquette University campus in the city’s Avenues West neighborhood.
Unlike the existing restaurant on the site, which is set back from the street, the new restaurant will be built snug to the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and North 22nd Street. Parking spaces will be shifted to the north and west sides of the new building. The drive-through window will be on the west side of the building.
A 2,439-square-foot Taco Bell restaurant is also planned in Muskego for a vacant 1.2-acre site between Janesville Road and Princeton Drive and just west of the BMO Harris Bank branch at the southwest corner of Janesville and Moorland roads.
