Wired Wisconsin launches online legislative directory

Wired Wisconsin recently launched its new Legislative Directory, an online resource to help people contact their state legislators through email and social networking sites.
"As email and social networking sites play an increasing role in how constituents interact with their representatives, we recognize the importance of creating a comprehensive online directory for Wisconsinites," said Thad Nation, executive director for Wired Wisconsin.
Included in the directory are the official governmental email addresses for all State Assembly members and State Senators, as well as links to their legislative websites, Facebook pages and Twitter accounts, if available.
"We hope that the Legislative Directory will be a one-stop resource for Wisconsinites to use to engage their representatives and talk to them about the important issues facing our state," said Nation.
Wired Wisconsin is the Wisconsin-based project of Midwest Consumers for Choice and Competition (MCCC), a non-profit organization of individual consumers interested in technology, broadband, and telecommunication issues with state projects throughout the Midwest region.
