Glendale-based Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare has announced that Coreen Dicus-Johnson has been named President of the health system’s Central Market.
Wheaton’s Central Market includes Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Franklin and St. Francis, Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital and Whaton Franciscan Medical Group.
Dicus-Johnson officially became president on Jan. 6, following the death of Dan Mattes in Nov., 2013.
Dicus-Johnson most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Physician and Revenue operations for Wheaton. She also participated in the formation of Quality Health Solutions (QHS), and will continue to serve on the Board and committees of QHS in her new role.
Before joining Wheaton in 2005 as Vice President of Payer Contracting, Dicus-Johnson spent nine years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin. She has a law degree from DePaul University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
