WFA Staffing, a Milwaukee-based staffing agency, has promoted Thomas Krist from president to chief executive officer and Fred DโAmato from vice president to president.

The promotions, completed in October and announced in December, will shuffle more administrative duties to DโAmato as Krist frequently travels across the country as well as internationally, largely for leisure.
The two executives have worked together for more than 30 years, both at WFA Staffing and other companies, including MGIC.
Krist said DโAmato has been in line for the role of president. During Kristโs weeks of travel, DโAmato has been overseeing administrative functions in the office as well as vetting issues with clients.
He deserves the title, according to Krist, as he has been a key contact for company clients.
โHeโs always been one of our top sales people and recruiters,โ Krist said. โHeโs highly respected, and the time is right.โ
Krist does not plan to retire from WFA Staffing anytime soon but will continue working in a full-time capacity, he said. By releasing a share of administrative tasks to DโAmato, he will be able to continue working with the pool of employers he assists and placing job candidates.
โWhat happens in our business is you develop long-term relationships with companies, and they really rely on you,โ he said.
Krist does not envision that the leadership changes will significantly impact the company employee base or client base.
WFA Staffingโs chief financial officer, Todd Strehlow, will continue managing company finances.
