West Bend Mutual to make donations when Brewers hit home runs

As a part of the partnership between the Milwaukee Brewers and West Bend Mutual Insurance, donations will be made to the Brewers Community Foundation by West Bend each time a Brewers player hits a home run at Miller Park.

“We are excited to partner with an organization whose core values of ‘excellence, integrity and responsibility’ align with Brewers Community Foundation’s efforts to positively impact the community,” Brewers Community Foundation executive director Cecelia Gore said. “West Bend has answered the question, ‘What is Good?’ by going to bat for kids, adults and people who need support in the areas of health, education, recreation and basic needs.”

“We’re very pleased to continue our partnership with the Milwaukee Brewers for the 2011 season and beyond,” said Kevin Rausch, director of marketing, West Bend Mutual Insurance. “Partnering with the Brewers Community Foundation allows West Bend to give back to our community through the many worthy organizations the foundation supports. We are hoping for a record number of Brewers home runs at Miller Park this season.”

The Brewers and West Bend have been partners since 2006.

In addition to the donation, other elements of the partnership include outfield wall signage, scoreboard features, hospitality events and two “Drive For Life” driving safety events in the Miller Park Parking lots.
