Webcast features county executive candidate forum

A digital, high-definition webcast of last week’s Milwaukee County executive candidates forum is available online.

All five of the candidates on the primary ballot participated in the forum at Marquette University’s Eckstein Hall. The forum was presented by the Marquette Law School and the Milwaukee Press Club.

The candidates in the forum will be philanthropist Chris Abele, paralegal Ieshuh Griffin, acting Milwaukee County Executive Lee Holloway, State Rep. Jeff Stone and former State Sen. Jim Sullivan.

The forum was organized by BizTimes Milwaukee executive editor Steve Jagler. The candidates were questioned by a panel of Milwaukee journalists, including: Jagler, Steve Schultze of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Brad Hicks of WITI-Fox 6 and LaToya Dennis of WUWM.

The candidate forum also is being rebroadcast by Time Warner Cable on Channel 411 Video on Demand.

The online webcast is being provided by Milwaukee Public Television, Channels 10 & 36, and can be viewed by clicking here.

The candidates will square off in a Feb. 15 primary. The top two vote-getters will then advance to the April 5 general election.
