Waukesha State Bank recently purchased a bowling alley in Hartland where it plans to build a new bank branch.
Waukesha State Bank bought the Hartbrook Lanes bowling alley property at 550 Hartbrook Dr., Hartland, from GGF 550 LLC for $1.4 million, according to state records.
The property is located near a new Sendik’s grocery store that will open Thursday at 600 Hartbrook Dr. It will be the 12th store location for the Sendik’s Food Markets chain known for its signature red bags. The store will have 100 employees.
The bowling alley building was built in 1975 and the property has an assessed value of $1.23 million, according to Waukesha County records.
Waukesha State Bank plans to tear down the bowling alley and build a new 5,500-square-foot bank branch on the property.
Waukesha State Bank currenly has branch locations in Waukesha, Brookfield, Delafield, Mukwonago, Muskego, New Berlin, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee and Sussex, but the bank has no branches in Hartland currently.
