Waukesha County Business Alliance announces Top 10 Businesses of the Year

The Waukesha County Business Alliance and BizTimes Media LLC today announced the 2011 Top 10 Businesses of the Year.
The annual awards program recognizes companies headquartered in southeastern Wisconsin that have consistent financial growth and demonstrate a commitment to good business practice through their employee relations, customer-focused commitment and community service involvement.
The winners were selected from more than 50 nominations.
The Top 10 Businesses of the Year are:

  • American Transmission Company, a Pewaukee company that owns and operates the high-voltage electric transmission system in portions of Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota and Illinois.
  • Beer Capitol Distributing Co. Inc., a Sussex company that is the third-largest MillerCoors Beer distributor in the United States.
  • Capri Communities, a Milwaukee company devoted to provider of senior living communities.
  • Century Fence Company, a Pewaukee company that provides installation of fences and gates for a wide variety of commercial applications.
  • CL&D Graphics, an Oconomowoc company that is a leading flexographic printer for the consumer products market of North America and Canada.
  • Dickten Masch Plastics, a Nashota company that is a full-service plastics company with a unique combination of thermoplastics and thermoset molding capabilities.
  • EFCO Finishing Corp., a Butler company that is the longest-running metal finishing job shop in southeastern Wisconsin.
    Good Harvest Market, a Pewaukee natural food store specializing in organic foods, natural foods, and gluten free foods.
  • Kolb+Co. S.C., a Brookfield CPA/business advisory firm that specializes in coordinated solutions to closely held businesses and their owners.
  • Ruekert & Mielke Inc., a Waukesha provider of engineering solutions.

The Top 10 Businesses of the Year will be honored at the annual awards luncheon on Thursday, June 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30p.m. at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee. The event will include a panel discussion featuring the winners. The program will conclude with the announcement of the #1 Business of the Year.
