Organizations:

The 2013 Wisconsin State Fair welcomed its first round of fairgoers this morning, including Gov. Scott Walker and Mayor Tom Barrett, who joined Fair Park Board Chairman John Yingling and Fair Park Chief Executive Officer Rick Frenette at the fair’s opening ceremonies.

The state fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, runs from today through Sunday, Aug. 11, at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 640 S. 84th St. in West Allis, with live music performances, agriculture presentations and judging, fried food, rides and more.
