A panel of early stage investors from Chicago and Indianapolis that have a national reach will speak about what they are looking for in the marketplace and how Wisconsin companies might fit the bill at the next WIN-Milwaukee meeting.
“We are seeing increased interest on the part of private equity investors from neighboring states in learning more about Wisconsin companies and what they have to offer,” said Joe Kremer, director of the Wisconsin Angel Network. “This is a chance to hear first-hand about what sort of Wisconsin deals might appeal to them and their organizations.”
The meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Brookfield Suites Hotel and Convention Center, 1200 S. Moorland Road, Brookfield. Cost is $25 for WIN members and $35 for non members. Lunch is included.
The panel for the event includes:
Carrie Bates, managing partner with Triathlon Medical Ventures of Indianapolis
Caralynn Nowinski, associate with Midwest Venture Partners, Chicago
Bob Okabe, co-founder and managing director with RPX Group of Chicago
