UWM lecture to focus on Capitalism After the Crisis

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation will present the lecture “Capitalism After the Crisis” by Luigi Zingales of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, to be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the University Club, 924 E. Wells St.

The discussion will look at how the financial crisis endangered America’s capitalist system. Zingales is the Robert C. McCormack Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance at the Booth School of Business, a research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Center for Economic Policy Research. He also serves on the nonpartisan, independent Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, which is looking at the legislative, regulatory and legal issues affecting how public companies function.
