Unique Pizza and Subs Corp. recently opened on restaurant at 1016 E. Brady St., Milwaukee, which is the first of many planned locations in Wisconsin.
The franchisee for the Brady Street location is John Budzinski who plans to open several additional locations and has just begun the process of opening a location in Oconomowoc. "Our plan is to continue opening as many locations as possible within the Wisconsin market. We have confidence in Unique’s product to get us there," Budzinski said. Budzinski has been working with a commercial real estate agent to develop a list and visit potential locations for new stores.
The entire Wisconsin market will be a strong focus for new stores and conversions of existing pizza restaurants over to Unique Pizza and Subs, the company says. "Unique Pizza and Subs’ strategy is to grow rapidly through franchising, conversions and acquisitions," said Unique Pizza and Subs’ Executive Vice President and General Manager, Bill Vowler. "The Milwaukee market has the aptitude to be one of the Unique Pizza’s largest markets." Last year SBT first reported about Unique Pizza’s plans for the Milwaukee area.
