Uline plans to build a 22,500-square-foot conference center at its corporate headquarters campus in Pleasant Prairie.
The company, a distributor of shipping, packaging and industrial supplies, says the conference center facility will be used about once a week for meetings, conferences and events with about 200 to 300 attendees.
The building will have a large gathering area on the main level overlooking a retention pond. It will also have an outdoor deck overlooking the pond.
Uline is in the middle of a significant expansion of its Pleasant Prairie facilities. The company recently purchased a 20-acre site from the village to build a new 298,000-square-foot office building.
Uline is also building a second 1.1 million-square-foot warehouse at its corporate headquarters campus in Pleasant Prairie.
The company also plans to move its Midwest customer fulfillment distribution center operations from Waukegan to a new facility that will be built on a 200-acre site at Highway 142 and I-94 in the City of Kenosha. The company plans to build a 60,000-square-foot office building and a 1 million-square-foot warehouse on the site.
Uline also will occupy a 521,052-square-foot industrial building that Centerpoint Wispark Land Company II LLC is building at 8495 116th St. in Pleasant Prairie.
