U.S. Bank to provide Ahern funding

U.S. Bank announced it is providing more than $2.8 million in new markets tax credit equity for the construction of a 52,000-square-foot office and fabrication facility for J.F. Ahern Co. in the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee.

The facility is under construction and is expected to be complete in early 2013. It will cost $10 million to build the facility, which will be dedicated to fire extinguisher recharging and modular construction fabrication. About 215 employees will work in the facility. Ahern plans to expand the facility to 90,000 square feet at a later date.
