Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will join the list of headlining acts at Summerfest 2013, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. announced today.
The rock and roll band will take the Summerfest stage at the Marcus Amphitheater on Friday, June 28. The show will mark the band’s thirteenth headlining performance at the Marcus Amphitheater since 1989.
The band’s career hits include “American Girl,” “The Waiting,” “I Won’t Back Down,” “Free Fallin’,” and “You Don’t Know How It Feels.” With its list of hits, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers has sold tens of millions of records and belongs to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Tickets for the performance will be on sale starting Friday, March 8, at 11 a.m. Purchase of tickets includes admission into Summerfest. Pre-sale tickets will be available Thursday, March 7, beginning at 10 a.m.
The Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Highway Companions Club pre-sale will begin Tuesday, March, 5, at 10 a.m.
