The Plant & Facilities Maintenance Association (PFMA) has been organized to serve the special needs of building and equipment maintenance managers, announced John Skadahl, founder and current president of PFMA, Inc.

Skadahl said PFMA is a tax-exempt association emphasizing technical and managerial programs for its membership. In addition to plant tours, training and education, PFMA will host an annual Plant Engineering & Maintenance Exposition at Wisconsin State Fair Park on March 6 and 7, 2002. A scholarship program is also in the plans.
In addition to the Milwaukee-area chapter, the PFMA is in the process of establishing additional PFMA chapters throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest, Skadahl said.
For more information on membership or the 2002 Expo, contact John Skadahl by fax at 262-644-6528. A Web site is also in the works at www.pfmainc.com.
