Brookfield-based tax and accounting firm Kosler & Co., S.C., Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants has been acquired by Madison-based SVA Certified Public Accountants S.C.
Kosler will join SVA’s Brookfield office, located at 18650 W. Corporate Drive, Suite 200. Kosler’s existing office will close and its four employees will join SVA.
Tom Kosler, founder of Kosler & Co., has been in practice for 32 years and shares SVA’s commitment to high quality and timely client service.
The merger will allow SVA to expand its Milwaukee-area client base, and Tom Kosler can now focus on client service, leaving administrative functions to SVA.

SVA, which offers audit and accounting, tax, business information technologies, medical billing and coding, wealth management, trust and estate administration, has about 400 employees. It also has offices in Madison, Appleton and Rockford, Ill. The Brookfield office opened in 1994.
