Summerfest announces ticket promotions

Summerfest has announced its roundup of admission promotions for its 2014 festival. Each promotion will grant patrons free or discounted admission options during each day of the festival, which will run from June 25-29 and July 1-6.

 

All promotions start at noon and are available until ticket supplies are exhausted or through 3 p.m., whichever occurs first.

2014 promotional deals include:

*Wednesday, June 25: Johnson Controls Stomp Out Hunger Day with FOX 6. Patrons can donate three non-perishable food items to receive one free weekday admission ticket. Donations will support Hunger Task Force.

*Thursday, June 26: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel “Show Your Smile” Day. Attendees who present the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel coupon at any ticket window will earn one free weekday admission ticket when they buy one weekday admission ticket.  The coupon will be printed in the paper on Sunday, June 22.

*Friday, June 27: KAPCO “Go Red” Day with the Wisconsin Badgers and the BIG 920. Attendees who wear a red shirt will be granted one free admission ticket.

*Friday, June 27: Beginning at 5 p.m., the first 5,000 patrons will get one pair of U.S. Cellular/Summerfest ear buds and case.

*Saturday, June 28: Goodwill Day. The first 1,500 patrons who donate to a Goodwill Store & Donation Center between June 1 – 28 and present their specially marked original Summerfest donation receipt will earn one free admission ticket.

*Sunday, June 29: Kohl’s Family Day. The first 2,500 patrons who donate three non-perishable food items for kids will be granted one free admission ticket! Items of need include peanut butter, canned fruit, and macaroni and cheese. All donations will support Hunger Task Force.

*Tuesday, July 1: Sentry Foods and Dean’s Milk & Ice Cream Children’s Fest Day with TODAY’S TMJ4. All attendees will be admitted free of charge. The day will feature children’s activities and discounts from participating food vendors.

*Wednesday, July 2: Direct Supply SeniorFest Day. All attendees age 60 and older will receive free admission when they check in at any gate. Seniors will also get $2 off a food and beverage (non-alcoholic) purchase over $10.

*Thursday, July 3: Boston Store Day. The first 1,500 patrons that show an original receipt from any Boston Store will receive one free admission ticket. Receipts must be dated between June 16 and July 3.

*Thursday, July 3: H.O.G.® Day at Summerfest. Patrons will be given one free weekday admission ticket when they present a valid H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group®) card. H.O.G. members will also be granted exclusive access to the Harley-Davidson Hospitality Deck at the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse between 5 and 9 p.m. Space is limited.

*Friday, July 4: Mountain Dew Day. The first 2,500 patrons who present a specially marked Mountain Dew can displaying the Summerfest offer will earn one free weekday admission ticket.

*Friday, July 4: Summerfest Military Appreciation Day. All active-duty military personnel and veterans, along with a maximum of four family members, who show their Military ID at any gate will be admitted free of charge.

*Saturday, July 5: Northwestern Mutual “Make a Child Smile” Day. The first 1,500 patrons who donate new or gently used children’s books with a $10 minimum value will earn one free admission ticket.  All books will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.

*Sunday, July 6: Summerfest “Fan Appreciation” Day. All attendees will get into the festival for free, thanks to Summerfest.
