Summerfest announces new acts

Summerfest has announced more than 75 headlining performers that will add to the top talent it is featuring at its 2014 festival.

 

New acts are: New Order, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Fitz And The Tantrums, The Head and the Heart, B.o.B., Atmosphere, ZZ Ward, Ziggy Marley, Jake Miller, Yonder Mountain String Band, Wailers, SoMo, DJ Pauly D, Michael McDonald, Matisyahu, David Nail, Saints of Valory, St. Lucia, Bad Suns, Rise Against, Nas, Ludacris, Neon Trees, Robert DeLong, Girl Talk, Umphrey’s McGee, Kongos, Kool and the Gang, Bleachers, Los Lonely Boys, Blackberry Smoke, Kansas, Clay Walker, Crowder, The Hold Steady, Bombino, Wild Feathers, Kitten, Kip Moore, Brand New, Five Finger Death Punch, The Airborne Toxic Event, Melissa Ethridge, REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, A Great Big World, Switchfoot, O.A.R., Scotty McCreery, Rusted Root, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Crystal Method, Best Coast, Delta Rae, Kopecky Family Band, James Hunter Six, Wild Cub, Ray LaMontagne, The Neighbourhood, The Fray, Tegan and Sara, Bonnie Raitt, Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, Walk Off The Earth, .38 Special, Jake Bugg, Timeflies, Pentatonix, George Thoragood & The Destroyers, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx, Taj Mahal Trio, Cowboy Mouth, Moon Taxi, San Fermin, and Foy Vance.

Summerfest plans to announce performance dates, times and stage locations in the coming weeks. Additional performers will also be announced.

Marcus Amphitheater headliners, which have already been revealed, include Bruno Mars and Aloe Blacc, Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley with Darius Rucker and Joel Crouse, Outkast with Gary Clark Jr., Dave Matthew Band, Zac Brown Band, MOTLEY CRUE with Alice Cooper, and Fall out Boy and Paramore with New Politics.

Summerfest anticipates announcing more Marcus Amphitheater headlining performances in the coming weeks.
