Student housing operator Cedar Square LLC plans to build a seven-story apartment tower near the Marquette University campus.
The 42-unit apartment building, to be called “The M” would be located at 830 N. 15th St. It would include one level of underground parking with 25 spaces and another 12 spaces on the first level for a total of 37 spaces.
Floors two through seven would include seven apartments each, according to an application filed with the City of Milwaukee.
The apartments would range in size from three to two bedrooms and would include laundry facilities.
The tower would serve Marquette students and would include a study lounge, exercise room, lobby and small office space for the property management company.
Cedar Square has 30 properties near the Marquette campus according to the company’s web site.
The Milwaukee Board of Zoning Appeals will consider the application on March 10.
