The county could start construction on a new jail facility as early as 2015, but county leaders still have no plan for what the facility will look like, where it will be, how much it will cost or how they will pay for it.
The County Board voted last week to move ahead with construction of a new jail, which advocates say should save the county money now being spent to house inmates in other county jails.
