Standard Process begins construction on plant expansion

Construction has begun on a 12,000-square-foot addition to Standard Process Inc.’s corporate headquarters in Palmyra.
The manufacturer of whole food nutritional supplements will expand its 260,000-square-foot plant to accommodate additional processing capacity.
The new masonry addition will be located on the southwest corner of the building located at 1200 W. Royal Lee Drive.
The expansion is expected to be completed by Oct. 31. Once completed, the company expects to add one or two new jobs to its payroll of 283 employees.
Excel Engineering Inc. of Fond du Lac designed the addition. Kotze Construction Co. Inc. of Milwaukee is the builder.
