Seymour is new president of Humana Wisconsin

Humana Inc. has promoted Kristine Seymour to president of the company’s Wisconsin market. Seymour will report to Larry Rambo, chief executive officer of Humana’s Wisconsin and Michigan region.

Seymour will oversee Humana’s commercial health insurance business in Wisconsin, including the company’s strategic direction, growth and profitability. She will concentrate on helping employers of all sizes devise and implement sound, cost-saving health benefits strategies, and she will promote Humana’s portfolio of products and services, including the company’s partnership with the Business Health Care Group, a coalition of southeastern Wisconsin employers dedicated to improving the region’s health care environment.

Humana currently serves approximately 400,000 health plan members in Wisconsin.

“Kristine Seymour has an outstanding track record in sales management, marketing and product development,” Rambo said. “She has proven to be a great asset, helping grow Humana’s business and helping develop mutually-beneficial strategic relationships with organizations like the Business Health Care Group.”

A Wisconsin native, Seymour previously held the position of vice president of sales for Humana in Wisconsin. She has more than 18 years of insurance and legal industry experience, having served as executive vice president of the Employee Benefit Group at Wauwatosa insurance brokerage Frank F. Haack & Associates, and having overseen marketing and product development for Cobalt Corp., the former corporate parent of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin.
