Rubber processing facility planned in Kenosha

Chicago-based A-Korn Roller Inc. plans to purchase a 20,000-square-foot industrial building at 1100 91st St. in Kenosha, to establish a rubber processing facility. The company plans to make $250,000 in improvements to the building and will have 7-15 employees at the facility during its first two years of operation.

A-Korn Roller Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of rollers for printing, converting and industry.

The company decided to purchase the building after considering several other sites in southeastern Wisconsin, said Brian Wilke, Kenosha development coordinator.

The building has been vacant for a few years and was previously occupied by ABC Supply.
