Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc. opened its third Metro Market grocery store in the Milwaukee metropolitan area on Tuesday in Mequon at 11558 North Port Washington Road.

“We have designed this store with the diverse and particular needs of the Mequon community and surrounding areas in mind,” said Roundy’s chairman and chief executive officer Bob Mariano.

The new Mequon Metro Market will help shoppers quickly determine the nutritional value of foods through the NuValtm Nutritional Scoring System. NuValtm scores range from 1 to 100: the higher the score, the higher the nutrition. The unique tool to evaluate food is debuting at the Mequon Metro Market and will be coming to the other Metro Market locations in downtown Milwaukee and Brookfield.
