Milwaukee-based Sensient Technologies Corp. today announced that Dick Hobbs, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will retire in February 2015. He will be replaced by Stephen Rolfs, who currently serves as senior vice president, administration.
Hobbs has served as CFO since July 2000. He has worked at Sensient since 1973.
“Dick has been instrumental to the success of Sensient,” said Paul Manning, president and chief executive officer. “The company would not be where it is today without Dick’s financial and strategic leadership. We cannot thank him enough for all he has done.”
Rolfs has worked at Sensient since 1997, and served as controller and chief accounting officer, and previously treasurer and vice president, corporate development before taking on his most recent role. Before Sensient, Rolfs worked as a financial analyst and assistant vice president at Brown-Forman Corp., and before that as a CPA for Ernst & Young. He earned a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
