Cudahy-based Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. today announced it has added two new employees to its executive leadership team.
Mark Peterson has been hired as executive vice president of sales, a newly created position, and Robert Milane has been hired as vice president of risk management.
Peterson will serve as the company’s top sales executive, managing the sales team, developing new customers and driving initiatives across the company. He has 29 years of experience in freight transportation and logistics, most recently as senior vice president at CRST Specialized Transportation Inc.
Milane will work to decrease insurance and claims costs for Roadrunner. He has more than 20 years of experience in risk management, particularly in the analysis and resolution of risk management issues. MIlane was most recently associate vice president for Canal Insurance Co., which provides insurance for trucking and transportation firms.
