What are you working on? "Developing 10-plus acres for a farm community in Belgium to bring them services and retail. Responsible development using Smart Growth to include the whole town. Arena and horse boarding facility, two strip centers, grocery store. Buildouts for two offices and designing four homes for site."
How does the market look to you? "The commercial market is still moving steady. The residential market is affected by psychological belief that the market was up too long and the bubble had to burst. A case of saying it couldn’t last causing the appearance of a burst bubble. The economy is strong, people are not always. People are starting to see that the market is rebounding."
What was the best deal you’ve ever been involved in? "The one I am doing in Belgium now. I get to help an entire town in a responsible way. Maintain the integrity of a community and finding out what they want instead of deciding for them what they need."
What was the funniest moment of your career? "Honestly, every day is fun, and funny things happen every day. It’s the group of people I work with that make it that way."
