CARW announces commercial real estate award winners
The Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW) recently announced the winners of its annual Deal of the Year commercial real estate awards. The winners of the awards are:
- Industrial Deal of the Year: C&H Distributors, Trent Poole, Roger Siegel and Scott Furmanski of CB Richard Ellis.
- Investment Deal of the Year: Investment Sale of Executive Center IV, Tom Shepherd, Mike Fardy and Scott Welsh of Inland Companies.
- Office Deal of the Year: Bucyrus purchase of former Midwest Airlines headquarters, Scott Revolinski and Ben Adank of RFP Commercial and Sam Dickman Jr. and Sam Dickman Sr. of The Dickman Company.
- Retail Deal of the Year: New Berlin Plaza Sale, Expansion and Acquisition, Kurt Klapperich of CB Richard Ellis.
- Other Deal of the Year: McKinley Avenue LLC, Kurt Van Dyke and James T. Barry III of Cassidy Turley Barry and Lyle Landowski and Scott Welsh of Inland Companies.
- Realtor of the Year: Andrew Jensen, The Boerke Company.
- Affiliate of the Year: Sam Denny, The Brewery Works/Schlitz Park.
CARW names 2011 board officers and directors
The Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW) recently named its 2011 chairman and board of directors. They are:
- James T. Barry III, Cassidy Turley Barry, chairman
- John Czarnecki, Commercial United, chairman elect
- Stephen Provancher, NAI MLG Commercial, secretary
- Thomas Shepherd, Inland Companies, treasurer
- Scott Furmanski, CB Richard Ellis, past chairman
Board of directors members installed are: Brad Dallet, Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek; Michele Dugan, CCIM; Mike Fardy, Inland Companies; Paul Galbraith, Grubb & Ellis|Apex Commercial; Peter Ginn, Hendricks Development Group; Curt Pitzen, NAI MLG Commercial; Dan Rosenfeld, Mid-America Real Estate Group; and Don Zien, CB Richard Ellis.
Riverworks Center honors Cassidy Turley Barry brokers
James Young and Maximillion Yokosh, brokers with Milwaukee-based Cassidy Turley Barry, were recently presented with the Broker of the Year award by the Riverworks Developent Corp. They received the award for selling three buildings in Milwaukee’s Riverworks area in less than a year.
Shorewest adds several sales associates
Brookfield-based Shorewest Realtors added the following sales associates in September: Mark Elstatd in the Burlington office; Mario Hardwick, Anna Kasper and Ralph Pittman in the downtown Milwaukee office; Paul Bradley in the Wauwatosa office; Timothy Covelli in the Kenosha office; Rich Heller in the New Berlin office; Kim Curtis, Timothy Yost and Dan Poppe in the West Bend office.
