West Allis development
- Crawdaddy’s restaurant, 6414-22 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, plans to build a wood deck to provide outdoor dining for 40-50 patrons. The restaurant’s current seating capacity is 193.
- Deborah and Joel Ramirez plan to open Mis Suenos Mexican Restaurant at 7335 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis. The space was formerly occupied by Tommasino’s restaurant.
- Jan Martinez plans to open a restaurant and catering business called Get Them While They’re Hot Tamales at 8223 W. Becher St., West Allis.
- Cousins Subs today opened its new store at 1469 S. 108th St. (Highway 100) in West Allis. The store, at the intersection of Highway 100 and Greenfield Avenue, is the fourth Cousins Subs in West Allis and the 16th corporate-owned store in the Cousins Subs network.
Zilber expands Maui development
Milwaukee-based Zilber Ltd. announced that it is expanding two of its residential developments in Maui, Hawaii. At its Milo Court project in Wailuku, Zilber has begun construction of 8 additional units, which is in addition to the 20 units that it started in the fall, 19 of which have been sold. Milo Court consists of 3-bedroom condos, with 1,425 to 1,465 square feet of space, priced in the mid $300,000s. In addition, Zilber has begun construction of the final phase of 33 units of its 144-unit Ke Ali’i Ocean Villas project in Kihei. So far 110 of the units have been sold. The units start at $579,000 for 1,233 square feet of space.
City issues RFP for Concordia Historic District home
The city of Milwaukee is seeking proposals for the purchase and rehabilitation of a historic home at 2742 W. State St. in the city’s Concordia Historic District. The 3,750-square-foot, Queen Anne style home was built in 1892. The city’s asking price for the home is $40,000, plus a commitment to rehabilitate the property.
