Cousins to open Brady Street location
Menomonee Falls-based Cousins Subs will open a sub shop at 1233 E. Brady St. on Milwaukee’s east side on May 12. The restaurant is owned by Rehan Kahn, who also owns Cousins Subs locations on Oakland Avenue, Capitol Drive and Appleton Avenue in Milwaukee. “Brady Street is a vibrant, exciting area and we’re looking forward to being a part of it,” Khan said.
Aldermen says Plainfied Curve neighbors like I-94 noise walls
Milwaukee Ald. Terry Witkowski says residents living near the I-94 Plainfield Curve are happy about the new noise walls that the state Department of Transportation has erected as part of the I-94 rebuilding and widening project from Milwaukee to the Illinois state line. Witkowski hosted a news conference about the noise walls on Saturday. “The fact that neighbors are enthusiastic enough to come out on a Saturday and talk about an I-94 improvement speaks volumes about what they think of these new noise walls,” he said.
