More homes planned in Pewaukee
Unlike the rest of Wisconsin, single family housing development in the city of Pewaukee barely slowed during the Great Recession. โWe havenโt really stopped,โ said city planner Harlan Clinkenbeard. More homes are on the way to Pewaukee. Homes by Towne, a division of Milwaukee-based Zilber Ltd., is developing a 35-lot subdivision on Weyer Road. The project is called Woodleaf Reserve and it is the first of a multi-phase development that is planned to eventually reach about 168 single family homes, Clinkenbeard said. Zilber also plans to buy another 15 acres adjacent to the site to provide space for even more homes, he said. Meanwhile, Neumann Companies has submitted a proprosal to the city to develop 60 homes in the fourth phase of its Victoria Station project on Lindsay Road. The first three phases of the project have about 120 home sites, Clinkenbeard said. Also, former Milwaukee Bucks center Joel Przybilla and Noelle Przybilla plan to combine two half-acre lots on Century Farm Road in the Broken Hill subdivision into a one-acre site. โHe wants to build a big home,โ Clinkenbeard said.
