Century Fence adds land for future expansion
Pewaukee-based Century Fence Co. has added 2 acres along Watertown, adjacent to its 12.5-acre headquarters and operations site at 1300 Hickory St. in Pewaukee. The company added the land by acquiring 1.5 acres from Briohn Building Corp. and 0.5-acre from another landowner, Century Fence Co. president John Connell said. The company has no immediate plans for the land but wants it for future expansion, he said. The company is asking the city of Pewaukee to rezone the 0.5-acre site. “We like where we are,” Connell said. “We don’t want to be landlocked in.”
