Public invited to ‘Meet the Media’

The public is invited to the Milwaukee Press Club’s annual “Meet the Media” celebration, which will feature dozens of celebrity bartenders.
The event will take place Thursday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Newsroom Pub, home to the Milwaukee Press Club, located at 137 E. Wells St., in downtown Milwaukee.
Attendees will then be entertained by more than 40 celebrity bartenders, including media professionals from nearly all of the area’s media outlets, as well as various community leaders and company leaders throughout the region.
The media outlets to be represented behind the bar will include the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, WISN-Channel 12, Milwaukee Magazine, WUWM, WKLH and BizTimes Milwaukee.
The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required and may be done online at www.milwaukeepressclub.org.
