The aging baby boom population needing health care services, the ever growing shortage of medical professionals due to retirement and because of fewer students interested in pursuing these types of occupations. Also, the need will continue to grow as hospital systems and retail stores
venture into new and expanded services.
DO YOU PLAN CHANGES IN YOUR COMPANY IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS? Premier is planning on diversifying into other health care staffing areas, including allied health care (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech), radiology and pharmacy services.
WHO ARE THE BUSINESS PEOPLE, LOCAL OR NATIONALLY, WHOM YOU ADMIRE? AND WHAT TRAITS DO THOSE PEOPLE EXHIBIT THAT MAKES YOU ADMIRE THEM? I admire any owner that has taken a chance on starting his or her own business from scratch – the owners that start a business with a good-intentioned idea and grow it in an ethical and
moral basis. Specific traits that I admire in a business person are aggressiveness, being opportunistic, self motivated and having persistence.
WHAT IS THE OUTLOOK FOR THE BUSINESS CONDITIONS OF YOUR INDUSTRY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS? The health care market is in constant flux. More and more hospital systems around the country are expanding their services and trying to offer better care in more posh settings. Even the “big box” retail stores are offering pharmacy, dental and other health care services. With this continued business expansion of services and people living longer and needing health care services, the niche staffing market of health care professionals will continue to flourish.
