Mueller Communications, Milwaukee, hired Scott Larrivee as an account executive and Alessa Goff as an account coordinator. Prior to joining Mueller Communications, Larrivee served as spokesperson and information officer for the Wisconsin Department of Administration. Goff holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising management from Drake University.

Johnson Direct, Brookfield, hired Jody Smith and Jessica Kolbe as measurable marketing account managers and Robert Kraus as traffic coordinator. Prior to joining Johnson Direct, Smith worked for One Group Advertising, Dallas. Kolbe has more than five years of marketing experience. Kraus previously worked for Gareth Stevens, Milwaukee and Wm. K. Walthers, Milwaukee.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Milwaukee, promoted Lisa Frymark to account executive in the public relations group and hired Mary Stanko as an assistant account executive in the account management group. Frymark joined the agency in 2005 and most recently served as a writer. Prior to joining the agency, Stanko served as an assistant account executive for TMP Directional Marketing, Des Plaines, Ill.

Thiel Design, Milwaukee, hired Jena Sher as a senior designer, Joseph Handy as a designer and Bethany Armstrong as a multimedia specialist. Prior to joining Thiel Design, Sher served as a senior designer for Pentagram, New York. Handy holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee. Armstrong holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee and previously served as an independent Web site designer and videographer in Pittsburg.

Architecture

La Macchia Group, Milwaukee, hired Doug Throndson as chief financial officer; Jean Chandler and Nicole Springstroh as designers; Erin Gahagan as a design coordinator and Kim Magnabosco as an executive assistant. Throndson has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Chandler holds a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Springstroh most recently served as a designer for GE Healthcare, U.K. Gahagan most recently served as the awards and events coordinator for Focus Features, Los Angeles.

Sherman On joined Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., Milwaukee, as a financial representative for The Neumann Financial Group, Brookfield.
Todd Adler joined the downtown Milwaukee office of Associated Bank, Green Bay, as senior vice president and director of treasury for the corporate banking division. Adler has 20 years of experience in the banking industry and more than 10 years experience as a treasury management specialist.

Grafton State Bank promoted Stephen Rossmeissl to senior lender. Rossmeissl joined the bank in 2003 and has more than 28 years of experience in the banking industry.

Andrew Boario joined Wauwatosa Savings Bank, Wauwatosa, as vice president of business banking and department head. Boario has more than 10 years of experience in direct sales, portfolio management and business development. Prior to joining Wauwatosa Savings, Boario served as division manager of business banking for the Milwaukee office of JP Morgan Chase & Co., New York. Michael Griebel also joined Wauwatosa Savings as vice president business banking. Griebel has more than 14 years of experience in direct sales and six years of experience in sales management.

CG Schmidt, Milwaukee, promoted Mary-Jo Stremlow to controller and Scott Tesch to mechanical, electrical and plumbing manager. Stremlow joined CG Schmidt in 2006 and most recently served as corporate finance manager. Tesch has been with the firm since 1998.

Aaron Coombs joined the Milwaukee office of Gilbane, Providence, R.I., as an assistant project manager. Prior to joining Gilbane, Coombs served as a project manager and estimator for Closner Construction and Sales, Marquette, Mich.

Berghammer Construction, Butler, hired Jennifer Wells as assistant project manager, Matt Iwanski as a project engineer and Danielle Ford as a project accountant. Wells most recently served as a project manager for Mo’s Restaurants, Milwaukee. Iwanski holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on construction engineering and management from UW-Madison. Ford holds an associate’s degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College.

CG Schmidt, Milwaukee, hired Tony Buss, Sharon Theobald and Kyle Mainwaring as project engineers and Jennifer Kendall as an executive assistant. Buss holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from UW-Stout. Theobald holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. Mainwaring holds a bachelor’s degree in building construction management from UW- Platteville.

The Brookfield office of M.A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, promoted Scott Heberlein to senior project manager. Heberlein joined Mortenson in 1998 and most recently served as a project manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and environmental engineering from UW-Madison.

Business Brokerage

Todd Manderfield joined the Brookfield office of Cornerstone Business Services, Green Bay, as a business transaction adviser. Manderfield holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-Whitewater.

Chambers of Commerce and Visitors Bureaus Sheri Urban joined the Granville-Brown Deer Chamber of Commerce, Milwaukee, as coordinator. Prior to joining the chamber, Urban served as the managing director of Wild Space Dance Company, Milwaukee.

Education

Divine Savior Holy Angels High School (DSHA), Milwaukee, hired Jennifer Elliott Miner as director of alumnae relations and Marisa Rivera as director of admissions and financial aid. Miner most recently served as associate director of university special events for Marquette University. Rivera previously served as associate dean of students for Mount Mary College.

Health Care

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, promoted Dr. Marc Gorelick to associate director of the Children’s Research Institute.

Gorelick has been with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin since 2000 and most recently served as medical director of emergency services.

Judi Cranberg joined Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, as director for risk management. Cranberg previously served as a risk management consultant in the insurance industry and is a lawyer focusing on legal and health care risk management.

Landscaping & Maintenance

Jeff Wilson joined Wachtel Tree Science & Service, Merton, as vice president of client relations. Wilson has more than 32 years of experience.

Kirk Tuson, president of Stay-Lite Lighting, Pewaukee, will serve another term as president of Professional Lighting and Sign Management Companies of America (PLASMA). 

Bret Achtenhagen’s Seasonal Services, Mukwonago, hired Kyle Kohlmann as a landscape designer and Brent Amann as landscape management division superintendent. Kohlmann has five years of experience in landscape design and holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from UW-Madison. Amann has 14 years of experience in the landscaping and golf course industries.  

Professional Organizations

Heather Rahlf joined the Wisconsin Bakers Association (WBA), Milwaukee, as administrative office coordinator. Prior to joining the WBA, Rahlf served as a sales and technical support specialist for Kelch, Menomonee Falls, a division of Bemis Manufacturing, Neenah.

Real Estate

Christine McBride joined Inland Companies, Milwaukee and Madison, as director of marketing. McBride holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton.
Wispark, Milwaukee, promoted Jamie Jacobs to director of marketing and development associate. Jacobs joined Wispark in 1997 and most recently served as marketing manager.

Social Services

Erin Smith joined Sojourner Truth House, Milwaukee, as director of development and public relations. Smith has more than four years of experience in fund development for nonprofit organizations.

Technology

Montgomery as account executives and Karolina Delrue as a Web designer. Holdeman has 13 years of experience in information technology and 18 years of experience in business ownership. Montgomery has more than 10 years of experience in sales. Prior to joining Comstar, Delrue served as a Web and graphic designer for Michigan Tech University.

Transportation

Doering Leasing, Milwaukee, promoted Adam Berger to vice president of sales and hired Harry Schimmelphenig as service director. Berger has been with Doering for four years.
