Wipfli, Milwaukee, hired David Lueth as a senior consultant in the SpiderLogic division, Megan Rutkowski as a senior accountant and Matthew Toeller as a human resources analyst.

Paula Smasal joined Komisar Brady, Milwaukee, as a staff accountant. Smasal holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lakeland College.

The Milwaukee office of Deloitte & Touche, New York, promoted Matthew Huebner to partner. Huebner has been with Deloitte & Touche for more than four years and previously served as an audit senior manager. nd

Advertising and Public Relations

Core Creative, Milwaukee, hired Kevin Brandt as a senior copywriter, Chris Davidian as senior account supervisor and Colin Deval as public relations account coordinator. Brandt most recently served as director of agency operations for Nelson-Schmidt, Milwaukee. Davidian previously served as senior director of marketing and communications for the Milwaukee Art Museum. Deval most recently served as audio producer for the Milwaukee Brewers for nine years.

Blue Horse, Milwaukee, promoted Karen Marcott to senior account executive.
Marcott joined Blue Horse in 2002 and most recently served as an account executive.

Stir, Milwaukee, hired Mark Mahoney and Drew Myer as account executives. Mahoney holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Myer previously served as an account executive with Jacobson Rost Advertising and Public Relations, Sheboygan.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Milwaukee, promoted Matt Sternig to senior account executive in the account services group and hired Katie Brace as an account executive in the relationship marketing group. Sternig joined the company in 2004 and most recently served as an account executive. Brace most recently served as a marketing consultant for Marshall & Ilsley, Milwaukee.


Michael Bahr, an architect and project manager for Plunkett Raysich Architects, Milwaukee, will serve as the secretary of the Wisconsin Council on Library and Network Development (COLAND), Madison. Bahr will also serve as chairman of the editorial advisory committee to Wisconsin Architect magazine, Madison, the publication for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Wisconsin.

Haag Muller, Port Washington, promoted Stephen Jeske to project designer and project manager and hired Virginia Bodus as an interior designer. Jeske joined Haag Muller in 1995. Bodus holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from UW-Steven’s Point.

Banking & Finance

Stephen Zimmel joined Port Washington State Bank, Port Washington, as assistant vice president and trust development officer based in Grafton. Zimmel most recently served as a trust officer for M&I Bank, Milwaukee.

Zorian Lasowsky joined Ways to Work, Milwaukee, as national program manager. Lasowsky has more than 15 years of management and financial experience.

Mark Bahr joined the Waukesha office of Wauwatosa Savings Bank, Wauwatosa, as vice president of commercial real estate. Bahr has 23 years of lending experience.

The Milwaukee branch of Citizens Bank, Flint, Mich., promoted Bruce Lussier to producing regional sales manager. Lussier has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage lending and has been with Citizens Bank for more than six years.


Neroli Salon & Spa, Milwaukee, hired Beth Lloyd as artistic director, Edward Ebel as creative director of cutting and Linda Wenninger as creative director of color. Lloyd has more than 20 years of experience and founded Art & Science Salon, Evanston, Ill. Ebel previously served as artistic director and salon development director with Aveda, N.Y. Wenninger has been an Aveda Purefessionals hair color expert for eight years.

Building & Construction

The Milwaukee office of M. A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, promoted Kurt Theune to assistant project manager and Chad Norris to superintendent. Theune joined Mortenson in 2003 and most recently served as a project engineer. Norris joined Mortenson in 2001 and most recently served as an assistant superintendent.

Health Care

LutheranLiving Services, Wauwatosa, promoted Michelle Mittelsteadt to director of volunteer services for the Lutheran Home. Mittelsteadt previously served as the administrative
assistant for Harwood Place. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Randall McDaniel joined TMJ & Orofacial Pain Treatment Centers and the Snoring and Sleep Apnea Wellness Centers of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. McDaniel specializes in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder and Sleep Apnea.

Nancy Johns joined The Arthritis Foundation, Wisconsin Chapter, West Allis, as director of marketing and development. Johns has more than seven years of marketing and development experience and previously served as the special events manager for the Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation, Milwaukee.

Dr. V. Theodore Barnett, Dr. Venkatesh Sampath, Dr. Estil Y. Strawn Jr. and Dr. David Toth joined the medical staff at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls.

Barnett specializes in eICU Telemedicine and practices from Critical Care Solutions, Menomonee Falls. Sampath specializes in neonatology and practices from Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. Strawn specializes in infertility and practices from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. Toth specializes in endocrinology and practices from Advanced Healthcare, Milwaukee.

Greg Gardetto, president and owner of Verlo Mattress Factory Stores of Greater Milwaukee, Milwaukee, joined the board of directors for the Reggie White Sleep Disorders Research and Education Foundation, West Allis. Paul Daniel, marketing director for Laacke & Joys, Milwaukee, joined the fundraising committee.


Larry Flam joined Marcus Hotels and Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corp., Milwaukee, as director of restaurant operations. Flam previously served as director of operations for The N9ne Group, Chicago, Las Vegas and Dallas.


Jeanne Petersen joined T.E. Brennan, Brookfield, as a claims consultant. Petersen has more than 20 years of experience in claims adjusting, specializing in workers compensation and liability claims. Most recently, she owned and operated an independent claims consulting firm.

Anne Pillard joined Godfrey & Kahn, Milwaukee, as an attorney on the tax planning team. Pillard holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree and a law degree from the University of Iowa.

He also worked as an independent consultant within the food industry.


Rhonda Fanning joined Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR), Madison, as a producer for IDEAS 90.7 WHAD-FM, the WPR affiliate in Milwaukee. Fanning holds a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in library and information science from Florida State University.
