Mike Stefaniak, partner and vice president of client services for Scheibel Halaska, Milwaukee, joined the national board of directors for the Business Marketing Association. Stefaniak has served on the board for BMA-Milwaukee for two years. He currently serves as first vice president and will become president of the Milwaukee chapter in 2007.

Stephanie Chedid joined MBO Cleary Advisors, a member of Cleary Gull Holdings, Milwaukee, as a senior vice president and as a member of the MBO Cleary board of directors. Chedid has 12 years of financial services experience in corporate strategy, marketing and business development with a focus in

Kevin Much joined Heartland Business Bank, Sheboygan, as vice president. Much has 10 years of commercial banking experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from UW-La Crosse.

Arthur Harris joined Francis Investment Counsel, Hartland, as senior advisor of client services. Harris previously served as chair of the employee benefits department of Quarles & Brady, Milwaukee.

Chris Merklein joined Jim Pankow Inc. (JPI), Plymouth, as project director. Merklein has seven years of experience in sales and project management. He previously worked in the sales and account management department for Goldsmith Painting & Cleaning, Sheboygan.

Inland Construction, Milwaukee, hired Dave Hassler as an estimator and Gary Skiff as superintendent.

Greg Shaw  joined Berghammer Construction, Butler, as field superintendent. Shaw has about 39 years of experience in the construction industry.

Jack Tomkiewicz joined Titan Building, New Berlin, as project manager. Tomkiewicz has 24 years of construction experience in estimating and project management.

Sheila Ehemann joined Succeedia, Milwaukee. Ehemann previously served as an account executive for Small Business Times, Milwaukee. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Education

Brian Walczak, an accountant and audit manager for Wipfli, Wausau, will serve as treasurer of the board of directors for Summit Educational Association, Milwaukee. Colin Hutt, president of Primum Marketing Communications, Milwaukee, joined the board of directors. Daniel Szidon, an accountant and partner with Wipfli, joined the advisory board.

Engineering

Ruekert/Mielke, Waukesha, promoted Thomas Koepp to supervisor of water supply, wastewater construction and quality control and Douglas Nelson to supervisor of water supply and wastewater treatment design. Koepp joined Ruekert/Mielke in 1986. Nelson joined the firm in 2005. Koepp and Nelson previously served as project engineers.

Key Engineering Group, Milwaukee, hired Ravi Talwalker as senior engineer;

Tim Radtke as a project scientist;

Daylanne Kaquatosh as executive assistant; Adam Tiedt as a CAD technician and Rob Wilson as a senior CAD designer. Talwalker has 33 years of civil engineering experience and previously served as a senior management civil engineer for the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works. Radtke has four years of experience in the environmental field and holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from Southern Illinois University. Kaquatosh holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UW-Stevens Point. Wilson has seven years of experience in design and drafting. He holds an associate’s degree in computer-aided drafting technology from ITT Technical Institute.

Paul Giese joined Giles Engineering Associates, Waukesha, as the geotechnical division manager for the firm’s Wisconsin operations. Giese has more than 20 years of experience as an engineer.

Health Care

Altheia Roquemore-Goins joined Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, as director of clinical laboratory administration. Roquemore-Goins previously worked for Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago, for 15 years.

Dr. Jeremy Topp, Dr. Stephen Dolan, Dr. Sylvia Dolinski and Dr. Joseph Hine joined the medical staff at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls. Topp specializes in family practice at Advanced Healthcare, Milwaukee. Dolan, Dolinski and Hine specialize in eICU telemedicine at Critical Care Solutions, Milwaukee.

Bob De Vita joined Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group, Milwaukee, as senior vice president and chief operating officer. De Vita previously worked for Ministry Health Care, Milwaukee, and served in positions including chief administrative officer of Ministry Medical Group, vice president for resource management and shared services implementation officer.

Dr. Antoinette Ducrest, a psychiatrist, joined Rogers Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc, as a full-time physician. Ducrest specializes in working with adolescents age 13 and older as well as adult patients and patients struggling with chronic mental illness. Ducrest previously served as a staff psychiatrist for the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex

Acuity, Sheboygan, promoted Dave Cole to senior personal lines underwriter in the Sheboygan office, Carrie DeBauch to senior commercial field underwriter in the Milwaukee office and Ed Matejka to senior commercial lines underwriter in the Milwaukee office. Cole joined Acuity in 1998. DeBauch joined Acuity in 1994. Matejka joined Acuity in 2003 and most recently served as a commercial lines underwriter.

EOG Environmental, Milwaukee, hired Richard Powals as executive vice

president, Missie Muth as technical director and Ryan Ziegler as MIS director. Powals has almost 40 years of intensive hazardous waste and diversified environmental experience.
