Rick Storms, vice president for Mercer Health and Benefits, New York, will serve as president of the board of directors for The International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, Brookfield. John Garner, chief executive officer of Garner Consulting, Pasadena, Calif., will serve as vice president. Mary Anne Blackburn will serve as secretary and treasurer.

Heather Hutchison joined Children’s Hospital and Health System Foundation, Milwaukee, as executive vice president. Hutchison has more than 25 years of senior level fundraising leadership experience. Most recently, Hutchinson served as chief development officer for Advocate Health Care, Chicago, and president of Advocate Charitable Foundation, Chicago.

Community Bank & Trust, Sheboygan, hired Cheryl Inda as assistant vice president of private banking; Michele Doers as operations officer and Peter Martinez as mortgage specialist. Inda and Doers will be located at the Greenfield location and Martinez will be located at the North office in Sheboygan. Inda has more than 20 years of banking experience. Doers has more than two years of banking experience. Martinez has five years of sales experience.

Christopher Ward joined Good Electric, Milwaukee, as chief estimator. Ward has more than 15 years of experience with a background in health care, systems and heavy industrial work.

Market Day Gourmet, Itasca, Ill., promoted Lori Madisen to leader. Madisen is based in Menomonee Falls and has been with the company since 2005.

Colleen Phillips joined Giles Engineering Associates, Waukesha, as a business development representative.

Quest Continuing Education Solutions, Brookfield, promoted Michael Halvorsen to manager of marketing communications. Halvorsen most recently served as operations manager for the company.

United Water Milwaukee hired Barbara Brown as procurement and warehouse manager and Karl Curda as safety and security manager. Brown has more than 25 years of experience in corporate, public and non-profit sectors. Curda has more than 20 years of experience in the safety and environmental health fields.

Scheibel Halaska, Milwaukee, promoted Karl Robe to vice president of public relations. Robe holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Vista Training, Waterford, promoted Angela Remington to on-site training coordinator.

CG Schmidt, Milwaukee, hired Paul Rizzo as an estimator; Rob Chartier as senior project manager; Kristi Kluck as project manager; Steve Luedtke as assistant project manager and promoted Mark Lillesand to senior project manager. Rizzo holds a degree in construction management from Bradley University. Chartier holds a degree in architectural engineering and a degree in economics from the University of Colorado. Kluck has a degree in civil engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Luedtke holds a degree in construction management from MSOE. Lillesand joined CG Schmidt in 1998. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction administration from UW-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from UW-Milwaukee.

Larry Rocole of J.P. Cullen & Sons, Janesville, will serve as president of the board of directors for the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee (AGC-GM), Milwaukee. Dave Jones of Jens Construction, Pewaukee, will serve as senior vice president; Craig Jorgenson of VJS Construction Services, Pewaukee, will serve as treasurer and Tom Miotke of J.P. Jansen, Milwaukee, will serve as immediate past president. George Minnich of Berghammer Construction, Butler, will serve as director and Dawn Pratt of Payne & Dolan, Waukesha, will serve as associate director.

Maureen Busby Oster, Alexander Costigan and Thomas Myers joined the board of trustees of Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee. Oster is the president of MBO Cleary, Milwaukee, and chief investment officer of both MBO Cleary and Cleary Gull, Milwaukee. Costigan is the former president and chief executive officer of Level Valley Creamery, West Bend. Myers is a member of the corporate law practice group of Reinhart Boerner Van Dueren, Milwaukee.

Openfirst, Milwaukee, promoted Nicholas Grimaldi to senior vice president and chief operating officer. Grimaldi joined Openfirst two years ago and most recently served as senior vice president of operations.

Cynthia Marsh joined Ron Sonntag Public Relations, Milwaukee. Marsh has more than 20 years of communication experience in journalism, public relations and business-to-business and consumer marketing communications. She most recently served as an account supervisor at Brady Marketing Group, Menomonee Falls.

James Friedman, a partner with Quarles & Brady, Milwaukee, will serve as president for the Wisconsin Equal Justice Fund, Wausau. Friedman serves as chair of the firm’s regulated business practice section and the financial institutions practice group. 
Kevin Hickman joined Ruekert/Mielke, Waukesha, as marketing director. Hickman has more than seven years of marketing experience in the architectural and engineering field. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-Whitewater.

St. Francis Hospital, a member of Covenant Healthcare, Milwaukee, promoted Sue Milewski to vice president of patient care services. Milewski has worked for St. Francis Hospital for 24 years and most recently served as director of the medical and oncology unit. Milewski is a registered nurse.

The Milwaukee office of J.H. Findorff & Son, Madison, hired Rebecca Schloer as project engineer and Valerie Alba as project manager assistant. Schloer most recently served as an intern for J.H. Findorff and holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from MSOE. Alba has 15 years of experience in building construction.

Pat Dhein joined Beyer Construction, New Berlin, as senior project manager. Dhein has 17 years of experience in the construction industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Norbert College.

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, hired Sergey Tarima as professor in the health policy institute division of biostatistics; Dr. Eric Hohenwalter as assistant professor of radiology and to the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital; Dr. William Grossman as assistant professor of pediatrics and co-director of the immuno-diagnostics cell marker laboratory at the Medical College and as an investigator at the Children’s Research Institute of Children’s Hospital and Health System; Dr. Brahm Vasudev as assistant professor of medicine nephrology and to the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital; Tetsuro Wakatsuki as assistant professor of physiology; Dr. Sumana Koduri as assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology and to the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital and Dr. B U.K. Li as professor of pediatrics and to the medical staff of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Visit Milwaukee, promoted Jeannine Sherman to public relations manager. Sherman joined Visit Milwaukee in 2005 and most recently served as a public relations coordinator.

Layton State Bank, New Berlin, promoted Jane Guadagni to human resource officer. Guadagni joined the bank in 1998 and most recently served as human resource coordinator.
 
Computer Technologies of Wisconsin, Elm Grove, promoted Brian Dean to client services manager. Dean joined Computer Technologies in 1997.
