Ridgestone Bank, Brookfield, has added Martha Morrison as a vice president in its commercial lending department. She has more than 26 years of experience in the commercial lending industry.
First Bank Financial Centre, Oconomowoc, has added Patrick Gosa, home loan lender sales manager. Gosa has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

VJS Construction Services, Pewaukee, has added Mike Riesner to the firm as a project manager. Riesner has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years.
Mortenson Construction’s Brookfield office recently promoted Tim Jones to director of preconstruction, Kurt Theune and Mike Peterson to design phase managers and Ryan McDonald to health care business development manager.
Education
Lynn Sprangers has been named executive in residence for Women’s Leadership at Mount Mary College, Milwaukee. The position was developed as part of a new strategic planning initiative focused on strengthening the college’s impact in the community. Sprangers will conduct special projects that include research, writing, speaking and hosting forums as part of the position.

Economic Development/Washington County has hired Rebecca Capelle as its new business development specialist. Capelle will provide direct consultative services to existing businesses in Washington County. She also serves as a business liaison to municipalities, state and federal agencies and affiliates on behalf of specific client projects and initiatives.
Health Care
ProHealth Care Medical Associates has added Dr. Kathleen Brass, to its physician team on Big Bend Road in Waukesha. Dr. Brass specializes in family medicine with obstetrics and a focus on women’s health.
David Pearce has been hired as the vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer for Milwaukee-based Extendicare. Pearce formerly worked for Kindred Healthcare Operating, Inc. where he served as vice president and chief counsel for the Health Services Division for over 10 years.
Insurance
Michael Sugden has joined National Benefit Consultants, Inc., Pewaukee, as vice president of specialty benefits. Sugden most recently worked for United Healthcare as a regional vice president of sales. He also spent 20 years with Humana, holding several sales leadership positions in Wisconsin and nationally.
Interior Design
Schroeder Solutions Inc., New Berlin, recently promoted Lukas Gierhahn to assist the company’s office and industrial moving division while working closely with the sales and administrative staff. He has been with the company for seven years.
Legal Services
The law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP recently added Eric Matzke to its Milwaukee office as an attorney in the product liability group. Prior to joining Quarles & Brady, he served as a law clerk at Emerson Electric Co. in St. Louis. Thomas Hitchcock has also joined the firm’s Milwaukee office as an attorney in the public finance group.
Milwaukee-based Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. has added Emily Friedrich as public relations specialist and Jessica Gordon as its new marketing and communications assistant. Friedrich has significant public relations and communications experience and Gordon joins the firm with experience specifically in direct mail and e-marketing strategies.

Robert L. Habush of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. in Milwaukee has been named “Milwaukee Best Lawyers Product Liability Litigator of the Year” for 2011 in the 17th edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Habush started his legal career in January 1961.
Manufacturing
Dickten Masch Plastics, Nashotah, has named Carl Lider as its new general manager of Wisconsin operations. Lider has worked at the company for more than 12 years, most recently as plant manager. He has more than 20 years of manufacturing experience.
Douglas Dynamics Inc., Milwaukee, has added Donald Sturdivant as a class III independent director. Sturdivant will serve as a member of the compensation committee, the audit committee and the nominating and governance committee. He will replace Jeffrey Serota, who had been serving as a director since 2004.

After Breast Cancer Diagnosis (ABCD) recently announced that Jackie Adams has been promoted to program manager and Judy Mindin has been promoted to mission services manager. Jody Furlong, community volunteer with an accounting background; Wayne Oldenburg, president and chief executive officer of Oldenburg Group Inc. and Audrey Warner; first vice president with R.W. Baird & Co. were also added to the organization’s board of directors.
