Chelsea Tredupp has joined Trefoil Group, a marketing communications agency in Milwaukee, as a production artist and web developer. Tredupp has previous experience working for an agency and also worked as a web designer for Kohl’s. In her new position, she will help in the design of marketing materials like corporate branding, sales collateral, websites, e-mail campaigns and advertising for the agency’s B2B clients.

Boelter + Lincoln Marketing Communications, Milwaukee, has hired Scott Evans Winklebleck as an interactive designer and Sarah Hofman as an administrative assistant. Winklebleck comes to the communications firm from Ricco Photography where he planned, shot and edited video as well as worked with Photoshop, promotional print and web design. Hofman recently graduated from Marquette University with a degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. She has interned with iVorum/Equipatron, GT Creative LCC, WasteCap Resource Solutions, and Mocais Café.

Equity Creative, a marketing and communications agency in Kenosha has hired Brendan Kennedy as a copywriter and Alayne Secor as a traffic manager. Kennedy spent the majority of his career at marketing firms in the Milwaukee area including Charleston Orwig, Bader Rutter and Nelson Schmidt. Secor has experience in managing creative and handling production duties for a wide variety of projects on both the client and agency side. In addition, Equity Creative hired new designers Sara Behling, Colleen Belmont, Cheri Setzer and Kevin Plagge along with project manager Julie Hanson.

Architecture

PDC Midwest Inc., Hartland, has added Donald Banas to its staff as quality assurance coordinator. Banas has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial and residential architecture fields. In his new role, he will hold responsibility of quality assurance of construction projects throughout the United States, create quality assurance educational and training programs and visit all active construction sites on a monthly basis.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra has appointed Mark Niehaus as president and executive director. He will take over beginning in the 2012-13 season. Niehaus previously served as principal trumpet of the MSO for the past 14 years. He has also been chairman of the MSO Players’ Council and a member of the MSO board.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management has named Margaret Paddock market leader of The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank in Milwaukee. Paddock, who previously served as the market leader of The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank in Chicago, will oversee a team of wealth management professionals specializing in investment management, private banking, trust and estate services and financial planning to clients.

Education

The Milwaukee School of Engineering has hired several new full-time faculty members including Dr. Todd Davis, Dr. Eryn Hassemer, Jonathan Howard, Dr. Shafagh Jafer, Dr. Anthony Van Groningen, Dr. Hope Weiss and Dr. Wujie Zhang. Additionally, MSOE has hired part-time faculty members Dr. Omar Abdel-Baqi, Dr. Anne Alexander, Jill Bolanowski, Dr. Anthony Bowman, Dr. Jenne Meyer, Tiffany Miner, Kim Pemble, Beth Slayman and J.W. Spear Sr.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr., who played tight end for the San Diego Chargers from 1979-87, has been named vice president for athletics and wellness at Lakeland College in Sheboygan County. Winslow, 54, will serve as Lakeland’s director of athletics. He will also lead development of a college-wide focus on wellness designed to help all students understand how lifestyle choices they make in college impact their personal health and their ability to get a job after college.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has named Adrienne Bass as associate vice chancellor for alumni relations. She previously worked for Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., as director for strategic programs and, prior to that position, director for alumni relations. In her new role, Bass will work with the UWM Alumni Association Board of Directors to establish stronger connections between the school and its alumni.

Engineering

Chequamegon Bay Engineering Inc., Wauwatosa, has hired Lisa Brill as an administrative assistant. Brill has more than 10 years of experience in administration.

Health Care

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, has promoted Mark Rakowski to vice president of Children’s Community Health Plan. In this role, Rakowski is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the health plan as well as strategic planning and financial performance. Rakowski joined Children’s Hospital in 1999 as director of managed care and health reform.

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare has named Anthony Pacheco to its board of directors for the Foundation for St. Francis and Franklin. Pacheco is a senior engineer in the Power Solutions division of Johnson Controls, working across numerous industries to help develop batteries for use in hybrid and electric vehicles and other advanced energy storage applications.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Professional Events and Consulting LLC, Milwaukee, has added Scott Kivimaki to its team as an account executive in sales. He will focus on both inside and outside sales and will be responsible for presentations and client contracts. The corporate event planning company also hired Alicia Seibert-Pollnow as a volunteer sponsorship procurement specialist for Winter Fest. In this role, she will secure partnership opportunities for the festival, which is scheduled for Dec. 26-31 at the Delta Center.

The North Hills Country Club, Menomonee Falls, has hired Santo D’Amato as executive chef.

Insurance

The board of directors of Partners Mutual Insurance Company in Waukesha has appointed Douglas Moudry to vice president of claims. Moudry has worked for Partners Mutual for 30 years. His positions have included desk claim representative, liability claim specialist, and manager of claims. He currently leads all claim operations.

Willis of Wisconsin Inc.’s Milwaukee office has welcomed Tony Verheyen to its staff as a human capital practice producer.

Legal Services

Quarles & Brady LLP has hired Peter Kaiser as an associate in the Corporate Services Group in the firm’s Milwaukee office. Kaiser will devote his practice to securities. His background includes experience in drafting and reviewing documents for transactions, such as stock purchases, asset sales, and capital investments in start-up companies. He has also counseled business owners on issues related to corporate governance and helped negotiate and close real estate transactions for commercial companies.

Michael Best & Friedrich LLP has promoted David Trautschold to an intellectual property associate in the firm’s Milwaukee office. Prior to receiving his law degree, Trautschold worked as a patent engineer at Michael Best with a focus on mechanical technologies. His experience extends to wireless timing and messaging systems as well as banking and insurance transactions.

Manufacturing

St. Francis-based Wixon, a seasoning and flavor systems solutions company, has appointed Trish Bruce to account manager. In this position, she will be responsible for industrial ingredients sales accounts in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa and will work with customers to increase sales through product development. She will also work to enhance Wixon’s customer service efforts. Bruce has more 25 years of experience in the food industry.

Senior Living Communities

Luther Manor, Wauwatosa, has added Bette Diehl as chief financial officer. She has more than 20 years of progressive financial experience with expertise in strategic planning, management leadership, business planning and forecasting, and risk management. She previously worked for Glendale-based Oldenburg Group Inc. as a group controller.

The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, Whitefish Bay, has hired Mary Kay Murray as a membership associate. Murray is a certified personal trainer and has experience in membership sales and administration at multiple YMCAs. She also worked as a life enrichment coordinator at Luther Manor in Wauwatosa.

Technology

Corporate Technology Solutions, Milwaukee, has promoted Cory Larson to senior consultant. Larson has been with the company since 2008 and has more than 5 years of experience in the technology sector. He has experience as a consultant for financial services firms and supply chain management. As a senior consultant, his responsibilities will include team leadership and project management.

Transportation

Menomonee Falls-based GO Riteway has named Nathan Mork its director of human resources. Before joining GO Riteway, Mork worked for Pewaukee-based American Transmission Company as a human resources generalist and spent four and a half years prior to that as a recruitment and project manager at the Capital H Group in Milwaukee.
