Jannsen & Company, S.C., Waukesha recently hired Kathryn Braun, who has joined the Jannsen Wealth Management team as financial services coordinator. She has experience in a multitude of financial services areas.

Scheibel Halaska, Milwaukee, recently added LIsa Fernandez to its staff as a public relations account executive. Prior to joining SH, Fernandez worked as an account coordinator at Abrazo Multicultural Marketing and Communication in Milwaukee.

Core Creative Inc., Milwaukee, added Regina Corbin to its creative department. Corbin brings nearly 10 years experience to Core Creative that includes providing creative insight and production design to different agencies in the Madison and Milwaukee areas. Her work and dedication has earned the American Graphic Design Award for Consumer Packaging as well as Print Magazine’s A+C=D Business Graphics Award.

Christopher Morgan Fulfillment Services, New Berlin, promoted Thomas Mauthe to vice president of operations. Mauthe was serving as the manager of call center operations for the company. Before joining Christopher Morgan in 2004, Mauthe was customer service manager for Banta Corporation’s Literature Management Division in Menasha.

Mueller Communications Inc., Milwaukee, promoted Marie Maas to assistant account executive, and Annie Nolan to account coordinator. Maas was previously an account coordinator.

Architecture

Kahler Slater, Milwaukee, recently re-hired a former principal and senior health care designer. Joe Heinowski, who was previously with the firm for 10 years, resumes his title as principal. 

Banking & Finance

Bank Mutual, Brown Deer, appointed Doug Newman to bank office manager at Bank Mutual’s Racine office. Newman holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Bank Mutual also appointed Jaimie Charon as bank office manager at its Kenosha office.

Waukesha State Bank promoted Timothy Fults to officer, manager of information systems. Fults brings nearly 20 years of experience in network administration and system support. Prior to joining the bank, Fults worked in a variety of information technology positions, most recently at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.

Jerry Hegy joined Acquisition Business Advisors (ABA), Brookfield, as merger and acquisition specialist. Hegy has more than 25 years experience in accounting, human resources and merger and acquisitions, working for both buyers and sellers.

CIB Marine Bancshares Inc., Pewaukee, announced that Charles Baker has been named to the company’s board of directors. Baker has served as a director of CIB Marine’s subsidiary, Marine Bank, since 2006, and he is also a certified public accountant.

Amerihome Mortgage Company, LLC, announced the addition of Ken Kilman as senior loan officer to the company’s branch office in Brookfield.  Kilman has 10 years of experience in the mortgage profession.

Jefferson Wells, Milwaukee, announced that it has named Richard Quinlan a global director of merger and acquisition services. Quinlan’s expertise includes M&A, acquisition integration, sales negotiations, strategic planning and strategic partner solutions. He has more than 16 years of financial experience in public and private company settings, venture capital ownership and public accounting.

Pavlic Investment Advisors Inc., Brookfield, announced that Ly Nguyen has joined its staff as an assistant portfolio manager and securities analyst. In addition to her responsibilities as a securities analyst and assistant portfolio manager, she will also be assisting in the development of certain specialized investment products.

Building & Construction

PDC Midwest Inc., Hartland, added Kimberly Carl, to its staff as administrative assistant. She comes to PDC with a diverse administrative background and experience holding a variety of similar positions.   

The Wisconsin operations of Mortenson Construction, Milwaukee, announced the promotion of Steve Hordyk to senior superintendent and the additions of Jeb Meier and Kevin Spexarth as estimators and Lisa Shepard and Heather Tatman as project administrative assistants.

J.H. Findorff & Son Inc., Madison, promoted Bob Hougard to director of field operations in Milwaukee.

VJS Construction Services (VJS), Pewaukee, announced that Robert Dakovich was hired as vice president of construction. Dakovich has over 20 years of experience in the construction and development industry. For the past 10 years, he served as vice president of construction for a national real estate development company specializing in retail, multifamily, and hospitality development.

Consulting

Steven Wurster, civil/municipal supervisor with Ruekert/Mielke Inc., Waukesha, has been named a stockholder with the firm. He has been with the company since 1999 and has worked as a project manager and project engineer on a variety of municipal projects.

Lindsey Lubinski has joined Milwaukee-based Pinnacle XL’s, account services team. Lubinski will be responsible for bookkeeping and the implementation of marketing services. 

Design

Design North Inc., Racine, hired Jennifer Woods as an account strategist. Woods has extensive retail experience and has worked in new business development. Her retail experience includes positions at Roundy’s, Fleming, and Kroger. In addition, she has represented several health and beauty brands through her brokerage experience.

KSK Design, Milwaukee, recently named Laura Kaczynski, bookkeeper/office manager, and promoted Vanessa LaCoste to director of new business development. LaCoste has been with KSK Design since 2005 in a marketing capacity. Kaczynski has over 20 years of experience providing bookkeeping and human resources services to small businesses.

Education

Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, recently named Steve Montreal the new registrar for the university. Since 2005, Montreal served as Concordia’s Mequon Adult Education Center director.       

Fitness Centers

Elite Fitness & Racquet Clubs, Brookfield, has named Dave Bradshaw vice president of operations for all four of Elite’s fitness centers. Bradshaw has more than 20 years experience in the fitness industry. He has developed numerous athletic facilities, and is a member of the International Health, Racquet and Sports Club Association.

Health Care

Dr. Mark Bauer, a board certified general orthopedic surgeon,  joined the staff of Milwaukee Clinic of Orthopedic Surgery, Ltd. Prior to his hiring he worked in a solo practice since 1979 in  Hales Corners.

Aurora Advanced Healthcare, West Allis, announced that the Ob/Gyn physicians of the Women’s Care Center joined its physician staff. These six physicians are located in the Aurora Women’s Pavilion. All six are board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and have staff privileges at West Allis Memorial Hospital. The additions include; Dr. Karen Dobbs, Dr. James Hayes, Dr. Amar Jaglan, Dr. Jacek Kowalski, Dr. Lisa Lloyd, and Dr. Amy Miller-McCarthey.

Abri Health Plan, West Allis, recently made additions to its staff including: Diane Richards to claims data entry; Joanne Bolz as provider relations representative; Rachel Perez-Davis and Ia Lee as customer service representatives; Patty Enders as customer service supervisor; Kelly Kendall as claims examiner; and Rebeca Ornelas as data services manager. 

Law firms

Foley & Lardner LLP, Milwaukee, recently announced five members of the firm’s senior counsel have been elected to partnership. The new partners include: Mark Diliberti, Dana Lach, Mark Plichta, Bryan Schultz and Kevin Schulz.

Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., Milwaukee, announced that attorney Deborah Spanic was added to its Technology & Telecommunications Group. Spanic has 15 years of large corporate business experience to the firm. She is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, American Bar Association, and International Trademark Association.

Manufacturing

Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), Milwaukee, has promoted Megan Tanel to vice president of exhibitions. She will continue to serve as director of CONEXPO-CON/AGG and ICUEE. Larry Charrlin was named to the position of executive director of international exhibitions.

Copps Industries Inc., Mequon, hired John Legaj as its new production supervisor. Legaj joins Copps Industries with 17 years of manufacturing experience.

Media

WDJT-TV CBS 58, Milwaukee, hired Veronica Griffin as a weekend anchor and reporter. Griffin comes to CBS 58 from WTXF-TV in Philadelphia where she was working as a news reporter.   

Professional Organizations

The Milwaukee Jewish Federation added Jenni Chudnow to its staff as the full-time development and planning associate. She has extensive volunteer and paid work experience in Jewish communal organizations, including Camp Interlaken and B’nai B’rith Youth Organization. 

The Alzheimer’s Association announced the election of Tom Winkel to its national board of directors for a two year term. Winkel has served on the board of the Waukesha County Economic Development Corp. and for the last eight years with the Alzheimer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, where he also served as treasurer and chairman of the Finance and Human Resources Committee.

Steven Gage, was named director of sales at the American Society for Quality, Milwaukee. Gage has over 20 years experience with developing sales processes and systems. He has served as a director on the Marquette University COE Alumni Board and is a director for the Association for Facilities Engineering Board, Milwaukee Chapter. 

Real Estate

Brian Parrish, a commercial real estate salesperson at the Dickman Company Inc. /CORFAC International, Milwaukee, has been promoted to vice president. Parrish will handle all aspects of commercial real estate from industrial, office and retail to investment brokerage.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Brookfield, recently announced that Jesse Sanchez was hired as part of the sales team. Sanchez joins the agency with knowledge and background in construction.

Staffing

QPS Companies, Inc., Brookfield, has expanded its internal staff. The Waukesha branch welcomes Morgan Stencil as account executive.  The Milwaukee branch added Olga Garcia-Flores as a placement coordinator and Elizabeth Mora Gutierrez as employee relations specialist. Robb Kashevarof joins the staff at the West Bend office as an account executive.

Hatch Staffing Services, Milwaukee promoted Lori Malett to president, Eric Becher to area manager, Adam Booth to risk manager, Tara Palmer to team leader, Mike Link to assistant branch manager, Patrick Hamlin to on-site manager, Sarah Ewerdt to corporate trainer, Jenny Acker to sales consultant, and has also added Debra Kroeger as assistant branch manager and Nicole Dunn as account manager.

Technology

Ascedia Inc., Milwaukee, recently hired Annalisa Harmon as an account coordinator, and Callie Wenthur as a PC support specialist.  Harmon previously served as the media relations officer for a vending company in San Diego and Wenthur previously worked as a PC Support Specialist for the Gehl Company in West Bend.

Training and Development

IDL Solutions, Germantown, added three individuals to their staff: Gary Jonardi as vice president, Lisa Baumann as an operations specialist, and Cory Bielski as creative director. Jonardi has been consulting in the Milwaukee market for more than 10 years, and assumes responsibilities for all Wisconsin operations. Baumann is responsible for customer service and office management, and Bielski has significant experience in the design and development of interactive strategies and solutions.
