Clifton Gunderson LLP, Wauwatosa, has named Carey Zimmerman chief growth officer. Prior to joining Clifton Gunderson LLP Zimmerman was vice president of sales and marketing for the Global Foods operating unit, director of global marketing at JohnsonDiversey, Sturtevant, and S.C. Johnson and Sons Inc., Racine. Zimmerman has a bachelor of science degree in economics and a bachelor of science degree in industrial administration from Iowa State University.

Chris Jacobs was added to the staff of Kramer-Krasselt, Milwaukee, as the new executive creative director in its Milwaukee office. Jacobs previously, served as senior vice president and creative director on clients including UPS, Wal-Mart, BF Goodrich Tires, Olympus and NASCAR for Martin Agency in Richmond, Va. Jacobs has won many awards including the Cannes Gold Lion, seven One Show Pencils, 10 ANDYs and an Effie. He is a graduate of Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va.

Arts & Entertainment

The Milwaukee Art Museum’s board of directors has appointed Daniel Keegan as the new director of the Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee. Prior to being appointed at the museum in Milwaukee, Keegan worked as executive director of the San Jose Museum of Art in California. Keegan received a bachelor of art degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and earned a master’s in fine art from Southern Illinois University.

Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra named Edo de Waart the new head music director. De Waart is the chief conductor and artistic director of the Hong Kong Philharmonic. He will succeed director Andreas Delfs who has announced his plans to retire after the 2008-2009 season.

Banking & Finance

Shelley Buxrude has joined the staff of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Brookfield. Buxrude will expand the existing sales team to over 89 full-time professionals.

Building & Construction

Berghammer Construction Corp., Butler, promoted Chris Rozof to director of estimating. Rozof has been a part of Berghammer Construction for six years. He previously assisted in identifying new technologies that the company utilizes in the delivery of its preconstruction services. Joe Graney also joined the Berghammer staff as the chief estimator. Graney is a 28 year industry veteran and has been a certified professional estimator since 1999.

CG Schmidt Inc., Milwaukee, has added four individuals to their staff including, Chris Henshue assistant project manager in the Madison division office, Holly Burrows as a project engineer, Ross Eggert joined the staff as senior project manager and Paul Hackbarth joined the staff as a project engineer. Henshue has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. Burrows is currently working at the Columbia St. Mary’s replacement hospital project in Milwaukee, and has interned with the company since 2004.. Eggert has 27 years of experience in construction management with specific expertise in religious and educational projects. Hackbarth is currently working on the Bucyrus International campus expansion project in South Milwaukee.

Con Forms, Port Washington, announced that Brenda Pangrac, has relocated from the Houston office. Pangrac has been with Con Forms in Houston for over 20 years. She will be joining the inside sales team in Wisconsin while still serving Texas and Louisiana customers.

Health Care

Froedtert & Community Health, Milwaukee, has named three new vice presidents: John Zorbini as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Kathleen Perlewitz as vice president of marketing and Rock Evenson as vice president of planning and program development. Zorbini, has served as vice president for human resources at Community Memorial Hospital since 1990. Perlewitz, joined Froedtert in 2001 and most recently served as director of marketing. Evenson, has been employed at Community Memorial since 1992 and most recently served as vice president for business development.

Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, has named Teri Lux to vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer. Lux is board certified as an acute care nurse practitioner. She has worked at Community Memorial for eight years, most recently as director of acute care services and nursing innovation. She replaces Nancy Wilde, who is retiring. Lux has her master of science degree in nursing from Rush University, Chicago.

Abri Health Plan, West Allis, has hired six new employees including: Janis Burdick, transportation coordinator; Adam Hahner, staff accountant; Lynn Harmon, care manager; Lynn Bauer, executive administrative assistant; Ann Grossman, risk management analyst; and Kay Oldenburg, director of human resources.

Marketing

Avicom Marketing Communications, Waukesha, recently hired Christine Rudella as senior account executive. Rudella has 15 years of experience in advertising working for agencies such as Laughlin/Constable, Milwaukee, J. Walter Thompson Company, Chicago, and Quad Creative Group, Milwaukee. Her expertise encompasses both consumer and business-to-business brand development with extensive knowledge in the areas of positioning strategy and marketing plan development. Rudella holds a bachelor of arts degree in advertising and marketing from Marquette University.

Media

OnMilwaukee.com has promoted several of its sales team members. John Hyland and Caroline McDonald have been promoted to marketing consultants. Hyland joined OnMilwaukee.com in October 2006 as an account executive, and McDonald joined the following month, in November 2006, as a senior account executive. Erin Ulicki was also promoted to sales team leader and manager in December. Ulicki joined OnMilwaukee.com nearly six years ago. She has four years of web media experience.

Real Estate

Irgens Development Partners LLC, Wauwatosa, recently hired Angela Mork as manager of marketing and communications, Mark Eisenman as development director, Carolyn Grayburn as an accountant, Melissa Fields as assistant to the property management team and Kelly Conway as director of design and construction services in the Chicago office,. 

Irgens Health Care Facilities Group recently hired Dan Cowell as development director and Rick Ferraro as vice president of the Chicago office. Ferraro has over 20 years of health care and commercial real estate experience; he has worked at Lillibridge Health Care Real Estate Trust, and Cushman & Wakefield. Cowell has over eight years of construction management experience. Cowell has worked as a construction engineer for Korte Construction Company, as a project manager for J.H Findorff & Sons and as a real estate development project executive for Landmark Healthcare Facilities, LLC. 

Staffing

Pinstripe Inc., Brookfield, has added Shakila Shimp as director of client services for Pinstripe’s Healthcare Group. Shimp has more than 18 years of experience in human resource and health care leadership, in both acute care and long-term care settings. Most recently, Shimp was the director of human resources at Wheaton Franciscan Services – St. Joseph Hospital, Milwaukee.

Technology

Stratagem, Inc., Menomonee Falls has named Tom Burzinski as its new director of consulting services. Burzinski’s 28-year IT career spans a range of executive and management roles and responsibilities in a variety of industries. Most recently, as vice president and CIO for a prescription benefits management organization, he was responsible for managing the company’s technology infrastructure, and earlier in his career, he conceived, implemented, and led a BI practice for a prominent IT services provider. Tom has also led a number of enterprise data warehouse projects for retail, telecommunications, and financial services organizations.

Transportation

Meghan Arnold joined the Milwaukee County Transit System, Milwaukee, as communications manager. Arnold has seven years of experience working in integrated marketing communications and previously worked in association management at Executive Director, Inc., Milwaukee. Arnold is a graduate of Marquette University.
