Premiere Hotel Concepts debuts AVU system
Premiere Hotel Concepts will debut its innovative AVU system at the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee TweetUp on Thursday, June 3 at the Crowne Plaza MIlwuakee Airport Hotel.
AVU is a user-friendly hotel media system that provides guests a sense of comfort and community by giving them access to local resources for entertainment, dining and shopping, said Paul Dickson, director of sales for Premiere.
Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport is partnering with PHC for this event and is exploring
adopting the AVU system in their hotel. Attendees and advertisers can experience the AVU
system in the Altitude Lounge on the first floor, and on the concierge level.

iPic Entertainment hosts Sex and the City premiere event
Bayshore Town Center’s iPic Entertainment complex will host a red carpet premier event that celebrates the release of the new Sex and the City 2 movie on Thursday, May 27 beginning at 5 p.m.
The event will feature photo opportunities with a live camel, shoe wearing contests for a chance to win prizes including iPic gift cards, a meet and greet session with celebrity chef Klime Kovaceski, bowling and fashion displays.
Gokey makes Wisconsin Vision Appearances
Country Music star and former American Idol finalist will make an appearance at Wisconsin Vision’s Elm Grove location, 12867 W. Bluemound Road, on Wednesday, June 2 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Fans will be able to pose for free photographs with Gokey.
Fans waiting to meet Gokey will have a chance to win autographed copies of the artist’s CD, Summerfest Concert tickets, Gokey promotional items and Wisconsin Vision merchandise.
Gokey recently signed a two year marketing deal with Wisconsin Vision that will include television, outdoor and print advertising as well as an online presence on the Wisconsin Vision website, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
As part of the agreement, Wisconsin Vision will provide the country music artist with up to 60 pair of Wisconsin Vision eyeglasses. Gokey’s selections so far have included bold, colorful, rectangular shaped frames.
