On Thursday, June 23, the public is invited to participate in the second of a series of meetings to help plan the future of the former Delphi Automotive site at 7929 S.
Howell Ave., as well as the existing Oak Creek City Civic Center site at 8640 S. Howell Ave.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive and review public comments on conceptual plans that have been drafted for the properties based on input from the first public workshop held in April.
The meeting will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held at the Oak Creek Community Center, 8580 S. Howell Ave. The meeting will include a short presentation by the city’s consultant, GRAEF, explaining the planning process, as well as the conceptual plans that have been drafted to date. The presentation will be followed by a more in-depth discussion of each site alternative where participants can share their ideas on how the properties might be redeveloped.
